Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-5573 (?)
- SCP-5573 refers to strange events happening around St. John's Church in Farwell, Minnesota, where a powerful portal to another dimension has opened, causing reality to become very unstable. Due to these distortions, the portal's exact appearance is unknown. The situation involves a special team encountering demons, led by someone named Azazel, who are fighting other mysterious creatures, and eventually meeting Lucifer himself, who then recruits the team. To contain this, a 20-kilometer area around the town is blocked off with a fake story about a virus, and strict rules are in place for anyone trying to enter or leave. Special devices called Scranton Reality Anchors are used around the church to stop the portal from spreading and to try and make the area stable.
- Pseudo-mythology (?)
- Pseudo-mythology refers to myths and deities that are not genuinely found in traditional folklore or whose existence is questionable or disproven, often arising from researchers' liberal interpretations of limited sources. It is distinct from simply "false beliefs" or invented mythological elements for artistic purposes in literature. This phenomenon is particularly noted in the study of Slavic and Baltic mythologies, where chroniclers and scholars, sometimes in an effort to create grand national epics or pantheons comparable to classical ones, invented deities or liberally expanded upon scarce ancient accounts.
